This will avoid searchers for the common file storage service from having to go through a disambiguation page to look for what they want to find.

Strong opposeWP:MALPLACED on moving and then pointing to the dab page ; if there is a primary topic, it is a night deposit box at the bank.
WP:RECENTISM and computer-bias is evident from the online storage service even being thought of as any sort of primary topic. --

Oppose. The proposal does not make a case for why
Dropbox (service) should be considered the primary topic.

Support, but Move Dropbox (service) to Dropbox as well. Nominator failed to present an argument but they're still correct; Dropbox the band appears a total non-entity that should possibly be deleted (no 3rd party reviews currently), so Dropbox the service wins the relevance war by a mile, recentism or no, and is the primary topic. @
Egsan Bacon: - if nom's lack of an argument didn't convince you, does my argument?

I wasn't thinking of the band when I wrote that - I agree that this Dropbox well outpaces that one. I was thinking of the thing that the founders of Dropbox were probably thinking of when naming their company, the night deposit box to leave something in when the bank/post office/library/etc is closed. Checking into it, though, it
looks like that is mostly called a "drop box" over a "dropbox". I was going to suggest a hat note, but apparently we don't seem to have an article on
night deposit boxes yet under any name I can find. Considering we have articled on some pretty basic things there doesn't seem to be much to say about (like
bookend), I was legitimately surprised.

Support move as proposed by Snowfire. The webservice is by far the
WP:PRIMARYTOPIC by page views. kennethaw88 •

Comment the dab has been cleaned up, and there's two valid entries with long-term significance. The band is a red herring. Discussion here should balance views vs long-term significance per
WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Widefox;

Weak OpposeDropbox (service) may be here today, gone tomorrow -
WP:10YT. What's the pageviews anyhow? Similar example of pageviews vs long-term - we keep the fruit at
Apple despite
Apple Inc. being more popular. This one is less clear-cut with two weaker rivals, so a dab seems appropriate. Widefox;

The website got
148,000 views in 90 days; the band and album only get
1800 and
600, respectively. Even
Post box, which isn't necessarily competing for the primary topic named
Dropbox, only gets
11,000. This is the overwhelming primary topic. I don't even think that an 8-year-old website is that recent. I don't see how anyone can suppose it will be gone anytime soon. kennethaw88 •

Support move and move
Dropbox (service) to
Dropbox the service is overwhelming the primary topic for this by common usage, searching across books, webpages, NY Times articles etc. As for recentism, yes it's quite a recent service, but it's a big one, and I see no reason to think it won't be around in ten years. It's more likely than not. —

Oppose for now. Surprised that Wiktionary has no entry, but see
Cambridge's definition. However an Alexa rank in the top 100 indicates that the service may be a contender. I'm reminded of the work I did to fix
Brand New after the band was yanked off of the primary topic based on
WP:RECENTISM arguments. Eventually someone even wrote
an article on the topic. Maybe someone will start an article about the drop boxes that people drop things in, for someone else to pick up later. LOL, please don't let my !vote be the swing vote.
