Why is Sports Reference linked so much on the refs?

Sports reference tends to be one of the few web-sties or sources that covers every nation that competes in the olympics. It is generally hard to find sources that cover Djibouti while they are at the olympics, (with the exception of when the win a medal which has only happened once). I've looked through info bank and can't seem to find any other sources that would really work. --
