metal degasification
I didn't see anything about metal degasification here, would it be appropriate to integrate it, or are these two different subjects? —

For a common method of degassing molten metal before casting, see
Sparging (chemistry)#Metallurgy (a.k.a. gas flushing). (Other ways, such as vacuum degassing, might work too; don't ask me.) -
