According to IMDB, a long time ago, James and Lars of
Metallica were supposed to voice characters on this show... what happened to that? —Preceding

Why were the character's pages deleted

I don't think it's official enough to be mentioned yet, but
this forum post at least has it coming on a more regular Toon Disney lineup. I don't see anything about new/unaired episodes, though. --

Number of episodes is wrong
hey can someone get an accurate count of the number of episodes? You tube alone has 29 different epidsodes of Dave the Barbarian. 13-04-07
Just glancing at YouTube, the episodes they have are 10 minutes long. Just a reminder: Dave the Barbarian's episodes were done in a "Two stories per episode" style, with the exception of one episode. So, the list is correct as far as my knowledge goes, just that the episodes on YouTube are split up into extra episodes. —The preceding

I register and stand corrected- though my preceding statement remains true. YouTube users cut the episodes up into 10 minute chunks, instead of showing the full 20 minute episode. However, I would like a clarification on something. Currently, we have a list of 22 episodes (as well as showing a few duplicates). But one episode, episode 12, The Figar / Silly Wiggy, has no original air date. And I've spent the past 45 minutes or so looking for a bit of information on this episode.
I can find basic information about it pretty easily, but everywhere I look has either no airdate or an unknown airdate. This puzzles me, pardon me if I'm just being new to the TV World here, but if it never aired, I wonder where the summary and guest star information we and other people have came from? As far as I can tell, it never aired... --

Come to thik of it The Figar, Silly Wiggy is something I'm curious about too, I looked it up on youtube and couldn't find it. I also searched through MySpace (thinking it's noe of those exclusive episodes) and couldn't find it either.

Well, YouTube and MySpace aren't exactly the place to archive cartoon episodes, so I wouldn't go about saying that the episode's lack of presence on those web sites indicates that it wasn't ever aired, though it does suggest so. The problem is, check that site I linked to, there are quotes from that episode, as well as guest star information. Okay, sure, that info could be phony, But it warrants a second look. --

According to
this forum post, the episode aired outside of the US. I have no idea how to confirm this information further. --

Reception Removal
Here's the contents of the Reception before I editted this article.
This show aired and it was praised by critics. It slowly became a
cult classic finding a large fan base amongst children and adults alike.
This show is a favorite amongst celebrities, those who are known to be fans of it include actor
Jim Carrey, actor
Johnny Depp, absurdist
John Cleese, actor
Steve Martin and professional wrestler
John Cena. It was heavily rumoured
Christy Carlson Romano was a huge fan of the show but she said in a 2006 chatroom interview that she has never seen the show. Before his death
Gregory Peck accidentally got an unfinished black and white copy of the pilot episode and sent it back, congratulating them for finding the next
Mickey Mouse. The children of absurdist
Spike Milligan have praised the show in interviews and have said that their father would have been a huge fan of the show if he'd been alive when it aired.
There is some really good stuff in this section, and I didn't want to delete this. However, just about all of that needs some form of citation if it is to be added back into the article. The only stuff I could find on the "Next Mickey Mouse" bit, for example, were from sites which were citing Wikipedia. Since this deals with other peoples' opinions, we need some third-party sources. --

Movie?
It is supposed by this wiki that a Dave The Barbarian movie is in post production and will be rated NC-17. Not only is a movie unlikely, but one of such rating? I cannot find a single source.
I'll delete it tomorrow if this user doesn't come up it RELIABLE citation

Cough* I think it was vandalism. Or there's a movie coming out called "Dave the Barbarian" that has nothing to do with the show.

Merge
I'd say the
List of items in Dave the Barbarian could be merged here - it's not very long (or well-written), not much reason to have a separate page when it's so stubby.

But like I said, when I have time I will make it long, and properly write it.
