The population from the last 3 censuses would put Tallaght's population at around the size of Limerick. It is time the Oireachtas realised this reality. Tallaght is one of the largest urban areas in the state and has a vast rural hinterland, satellite villages and suburban areas. It has been a county town since 1994 so after 24 years deserves some recognition. Jcully ( talk) 21:04, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
