In March 2009, fifty Nigerian nurses quit working at the Hospital in Barbados and returned to their country due to a news story carried in the local Barbadian media. The story reported that one of the Nigerian nurses working temporarily in Barbados had died from complications due to HIV/AIDS.[1] The remaining nurses demanded a retraction of the story and an apology. etc.
