This article was the subject of an
educational assignment that ended on 14 March 2011. Further details are available
here.
Move page
Whoops! This page needs to be moved to
Bang! (novel). Sorry. I can do this later this weekend unless someone wants to take care of it for me.

If this is not going to be expanded further, maybe it would be worth considering merging it to the
author's page. --

This is going to be expanded greatly in the next week as part of a school project (see link in assignment tag above). Thanks for helping with the move!
Roseclearfield (

It will need to be expanded very soon because at the moment it is unsourced and does not not assert notability according to
WP:BK, and will face a formal
WP:MERGE request. --

I suggest that "in the next week" is an entirely acceptable timescale. --

Indeed. The end results of this current school assignment are due this coming Monday. People are welcome to assist the students, but please, please hold off on AFD and other deletion actions until after that point. If, after that point any of the new articles are not up to snuff, I suspect there will be a number of AFDs started. But given the assignment is currently in progress, and has only a week more to go, I hope everyone can wait that week before taking deletion actions. -

This project was not fully completed by the student. Looks like it may be up for deletion. Thanks for humoring me (the teacher).

I fully appreciate that this article may be part of the Ambassador programme, but it has now been live long enough without references and assertion of notability, and main space is not an area for experimentation. It must now either be
PRODed, sent to
WP:AfD,
redirected, or preferably
userfied to the user space of the creator or one of the principal editors until it is ready for the encyclopedia. Let me know what you want to do, otherwise I'll go ahead and
WP:CSD it.

What CSD criteria does it fall under? --

None actually. It was a slip of terminology. I meant AfD because that's the only way it will get deleted, or proven to be a notable book and kept, unless of course the creator blanks the page.

It is now several weeks since we were told that the project was due to finish within the week. The articel has been expanded somewhat, but I see no evidence of enough notability to justify a freestanding article. I think a redirect to the author's page would be sufficient.

Although I'm no admin, I would agree that a redirect is fine. Having done some of the research for the article, I see that Flake's major literary contribution is The Skin I'm In, not Bang. Almost all the significant coverage I found centered on The Skin I'm In and included a passing reference to Bang as simply another piece written by the author. Next year, I'll have students working on new articles develop the article entirely on their userspace before a move. Thanks.

I will set up the redirect. If sources become available in the future it will be simple just to edit the page--
