It has been suggested since the
BRM P48/57 and the BRM P57 are two versions of the same car the two articles should be merged. --

Support--I have been for it, because P57 is the original BRM designation for the Climax powered "BRM P48/57" which is not an official name in any way. In race reports it has been common to talk about "BRM-Climax P57", "BRM P57 Climax" etc. and "BRM P57 V8" etc. for the later version. Lots of names, can get confusing. So, for people seeking knowledge about these BRM:s it would be best to have one BRM P57 page. This has been already done for different variants of Lotus 49 and Lotus 72, for example.

Support (tho confessing ignorance :( ) Variants are collected under a type page for all manner of things, until (unless) the variants warrant independent coverage.

Support--I have to say both cars are the same but merging is a good idea and hopfully now.
