Astrosat → ASTROSAT — The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) (The NASA of India) gives the name of this upcoming satellite (and most of its satellites) in ALL CAPS. See [1] and [2]. I would move this myself but the redirect has history. ••• Life of Riley ( T– C) 18:11, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Last prediction of 2013 launch seems to be in July 2012 (HinduTimes article). - Rod57 ( talk) 14:16, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
The article states it will operate at "radio, optical, IR, UV, X-ray and visible wavelength regions"
Is there a meaningful difference between optical and visible regions? Seems like one of those should be pulled. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.31.106.35 ( talk) 16:13, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

With the news today on ISRO planning to send another observatory into space named AstroSat-2, and the Astrosat is now being referred to as AstroSat-1 in the news released. Isro plans to launch India's 2nd space observatory with this it is probably prudent rename this page to Astrosat-1. Request for discussion regarding the rename.-- PremKudva Talk 06:06, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
This ISRO web page refers to it as AstroSat. -- EdwardSabol ( talk) 22:47, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
