More detail about the characters themselves and their in-game apearance
Deleted some comments that were pointless.
In any case it's apparant some people would like to see more about the game characters in game.
So I may as well add some details.
Moves and style, etc.

Winner of KOF 2003?
I've inserted it on the Ash Crimson page, but according to the Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami page, the ones who really defeated Mukai, thus winning the KOF 2003 tournament were
Kyo,
Iori and
Chizuru. Am I reading it wrong or the
new KOF protagonist didn't win a tournament in his saga? If he really won, feel free to delete this content. Also, if he is the main character, why he wasn't added to the Category:Computer and video game protagonists page?

Ash's Japanese Name
Yes, so I was wondering if anyone knew how to pronounce Ash Crimson in Japanese. I honestly can not speak the language, so I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me. Unless, of course, it's pronounced the same in both languages.

File:Ash Crimson.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion
An image used in this article,
File:Ash Crimson.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at
Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?
Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.
If the image is
non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no
fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
It mostly shows reaction to the character by western publications and western gamers. These groups of people have disdain for effeminate male characters. Ash Crimson's reception in Japan and Asian is much more positive. Can we add that?--

Because this is English Wikipedia it is common for articles to use Western sources. Japanese sources are harder to obtain due to being all in that language and users being unable to translate them. Even more, they would have to be from reliable sources like Dengeki or Famitsu.

Merge
This character article (and those like it) should likely be merged into the main characters list unless they somehow become the subject of dedicated commentary. The secondary sources used in this article refer to Crimson alongside other characters and never center on his own importance. And most of the refs in the article are from primary sources anyway. It can be trimmed down and built out in the main characters article/list. –

Oppose There are a lot of sources focused entirely on why he is disliked by the players. There is even an interview with a video game publisher about it.

After reading the article through, I feel I must also Oppose its merging. It reminds me somewhat of my work for the character article about
Zero. I would happily consider this as a GA worth reading after the usual process has been followed through. And there does seem to be enough commentary around him to be notable. --

According to WP:Canvassing, "However, canvassing which is done with the intention of influencing the outcome of a discussion in a particular way is considered inappropriate. This is because it compromises the normal consensus decision-making process, and therefore is generally considered disruptive behavior." There was no consensus anywhere. Just two different opinions. I only requested a third opinion to see if the article should or shouldn't be merged.

Come on. You already left a non-neutral message at
WT:VG, which would be enough, and you reached out to a specific person (who knows why?) for their opinion without discussing it first. It's
inappropriate and there's nothing to discuss. Hatting off-topic –

Although this is a dispute between more than two editors, I'll still address it and say that I also oppose a merge. The standalone article for this character as-is looks thorough enough to hold its own. Erpertblah, blah, blah...02:39, 3 August 2015 (UTC)reply
"...is a video game character in The King of Fighters fighting game series.." – I am not sure whether it should say this or "..is a video game character in the The King of Fighters fighting game series...", but I figured I'd note that it reads a bit odd.
Wouldn't it feel a bit repetitive writing "the The"
I'm not really sure what the consensus on this is. It's not that big a deal, but it can be something to avoid if possible.
"...tournaments with pyrokinesis one of his abilities." – seems to lack some punctuation.
Turned it into its own sentence.
"...to balance the roster." – "to balance the character roster" would be more clear.
Done.
"...and his technique." – "technique"? As in, fighting style? Moves? Control?
"After the tournament he ambushes..." – Punctuation.
Done
"Ash also appears..." is a structure that appears four times in this article. The word "also" could be removed from at least two of them, but changing the structure of the article to make it more organic might be a good idea.
Changed some.
"The supervising designer created..." – who is this?
It has been anonymous for some reason.
"Because of Ash's recent introduction..." – when was this?
Changed it,
Now the sentence still doesn't make any sense. "Because of Ash's introduction in The King of Fighters 2003 the staff did not want to disclose more information about him" How is his introduction in a 12-year old game a reason for staff not to disclose information about him? I assume you mean to say something along the lines of "Before Ash's introduction...", though the part "more information" implies that there was a certain amount of information about him available prior... I just don't really understand what this part is getting at.
Tried another
It's much more clear now~
"His height is that of 178cm (5'10") and weighs 59kg (130 lbs)" – proposed change to "His canonical height is 178cm (5'10") and he weighs 59kg (130 lbs)"
Done.
"Because of Ash's eventual appearance..." – sounds more like "Ash's late appearance in The King of Fighters 2003". I don't think "eventual appearance" means the same thing?
Done.
Overall:
What exactly are "powers"? Are we talking about supernatural powers? Spiritual powers? Are the characters left "powerless"? Though there's no need to dive into the series' lore, it currently feels very abstract and vague what Ash exactly does to these characters.
They never specified but based on KOF13, I believe his powers inherited from his descendants.
The characters are left powerless (Chizuru Kagura loses her strange reflection of images, Iori Yagami loses his blue flames) but Iori Yagami still fights in the latest match using a new fighting style.
Fair use rationale of the character's artwork seems in order.
Once a large portion of these issues are resolved (though not all of them need to be) - the "ash also appears" problem and the questions asked in the development section in particular - I will support this GAN :)
I striked through the ones that are fixed. Added some comments. Still needs some more work, but you're on the right way :) ~

Honestly, change "Ash also appears in other King of Fighters media." into "Ash has made appearances in various other King of Fighters media as well." and this is a GA in my book. ~

Congratulations, Tintor, you got a GA on your hands! If anyone would ever want to get this article Featured, I'd definitely recommend trying to find out who the lead designer was, though I suppose we just don't know right now. Furthermore, I think the line on "disclose information about him" is still somewhat odd, but it doesn't stand in the way. Sourcing is excellent, prose is generally of good quality, the article makes sense, very good job ^_^ ~
