Indeed, Ethnologue doesn't mention it at all, and there are no other sources that really say something about the language.

In "The Changing Structure of a Micronesian Society" by John Useem (American Anthropologist, Vol. 47, No. 4 1945, pp. 567-588), The "Anguarese" people are explicitely described as speaking "Palau". It sounds a lot like Anguar(ese) is either a dialect or a synonym for
Palauan. —
