Joyce identifies as being Usary?!?
Under Personal Life it states "Joyce identifies as being Usary" with Usary linking to the
Heartless page. Is this vandalism that's snuck through? As it stands the sentence makes no sense at all!

"Capitalism rape"?
Joyce might not be flavour of the month but the last clause in "2016-2017 Company Restructuring" para is perhaps overly emotive, and the referenced source [20] hardly strikes me as a reputable well-recognised source - more like a partisan vent of spleen.

Requested move 10 March 2024

Oppose. It's debatable whether or not one is more notable than the other - I guess it depends on what circles you move in. Both are retired. Also, you've neglected to put a
WP:RM move template on the
Alan Joyce article.

Note: I have now fixed the RM to include both moves in the template (which will add the banner to the other article).

What about the pageviews? Also I can find much more on Google about the businessperson instead of the footballer.
“I guess it depends on what circles you move in.” and “you've neglected to put a WP:RM move template on the Alan Joyce article” are not valid arguments based on guidelines.

Partial support/oppose per
WP:10YT. I would support moving "Alan Joyce" to "Alan Joyce (footballer)" and then making "Alan Joyce" a disambiguation page.

Oppose first, support second, make DAB at basename. No PRIMARY.--

Support the businessman has 2,007 views compared with only 235[
[1]] for the footballer so if there is a primary topic by usage it is the businessman but a DAB may be the best choice. Crouch, Swale (

Oppose 1st, Support 2nd and create dabpage at basename. No primary topic. --
