Was added by a Columbia University IP along with many other links to the site. I have moved it hear in keeping with our external links guidelines so unconnected editors can evaluate its appropriateness. Many of the websites entries are short and may not contain much more than the articles they have been added to. However, this might be a good source even if editors do not consider it an appropriate external link. -- SiobhanHansa 23:03, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

The text says "Pushkar is famous for Pushkar Lake and the 14th century Hindu temple to Brahma, God as the Creator of all creation. This is the only temple of Brahma in the world."
However, another article says "Others include one in Thirunavaya in Kerala; one in the temple town of Kumbakonam, (Thanjavur District) in Tamil Nadu; one in Asotra village in Balotra Taluka of Barmer district in Rajasthan known as Kheteshwar Brahmadham Tirtha; one in Brahma-Karmali village in Sattari Taluka in Goa, one in Khedbrahma in Gujarat and one in the village of Khokhan in the Kullu Valley, 4 km from Bhuntar. Regular pujas are held for Lord Brahma at the temple in Thirunavaya and during Navrathris, this temple comes to life with colourful festivities." 67.169.27.90 ( talk) 04:54, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
The point is well-taken. I shall make the emendation in the article. Thanks. Kanchanamala ( talk) 14:20, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

this article is about ajmer city, so why the image of pushkar lake is representing it in it's infobox? Is pushkar comes in city limits of ajmer? i am suggesting to remove image. feel free to respond. Johnofjln ( talk) 01:25, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
Johnofjln & Skinsmoke: Even as the Statue of Liberty is included in New York City, so has Pushkar been included in Ajmer for centuries. Please consider restoring the image of Pushkar Lake. Kanchanamala ( talk) 03:08, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
Much of this article covers places outside the city, and needs to be removed or transferred to the Ajmer district article. Skinsmoke ( talk) 09:15, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
User Tovojolo has gone to great lengths to abridge the article. Why? May I request other editors to look into this? Kanchanamala ( talk) 03:33, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
-- Tovojolo ( talk) 22:23, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. Can we go back to the unabridged version and make it readable? Kanchanamala ( talk) 03:03, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
It has been made readable. Long articles are not good just because they're long. It was full of gibberish. What we have now is far better, interesting and valid. -- Tovojolo ( talk) 09:56, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks again. May I urge other editors also to weigh in on this. Kanchanamala ( talk) 22:43, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
Well, it's now 7 July 2012, nearly 6 weeks since you first complained about "abridgement" as you called it. It is noteworthy that not one "other editor" has "weighed in on this". I think you just have to accept that everyone is happy with the article as it now is - free of gibberish.
Tovojolo ( talk) 21:56, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
You are absolutely right Tovojolo, not one other editor has weighed in on this. I have a suggestion for you. The article on London, UK, is also full of "gibberish". Would you please abridge it? Kanchanamala ( talk) 03:27, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
