Some secretaries are administrative assistants, but not all administrative assistants are secretaries. It is incorrect to redirect "Administrative Assistant" to "Secretary" because the terms are not the same. Victoria1286 ( talk) 14:35, 21 November 2009. (UTC)
Personally, I think the two terms should be the same, but I would be happy for them to remain two distinct topics with separate articles. What's important is coming to a conclusion and keeping things consistent. Given the fact that there was silence on this topic for almost 3 years, there probably won't be much input on this topic but we can still get a weak silence consensus. What do we think - are "secretary" and "administrative assistant" interchangeable, or are they distinct terms? Bilorv (Talk) (Contribs) 13:06, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
I would say the same. 68.81.55.232 ( talk) 19:17, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
There is a proposal to redirect the "Redirect of Administrative assistant" to Administrative Assistant. Discuss here. GenQuest "Talk to Me" 19:51, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
I think enough sources have been found for secretary to be kept seperate from this articles but I have no objection if this article is merge with secretary. Dwanyewest ( talk) 07:59, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
