Two pages in Beevor are given as footnotes. Can't find either. Can anybody supply the exact quotes, maybe the chapter, too? Especially regarding the pocket being " ... east of Frankfurt", since this is simply wrong - that would place it east of the Oder River, that the 9th Army was running away from, headed westward in general.

There was also a 9th Armee existing during WWI. Same army?
