543d Bombardment Squadron should be merged into this article and made a redirect to 383d Bombardment Group#Components. Unlike the other three squadrons assigned to the 383d group from 1942-1944, the 543d has no independent notability. (Compare 40th Air Refueling Squadron, 541st Bombardment Squadron, 42d Air Refueling Squadron). Its article is presently basically a stub with enough formatting, etc. to rate it as a start.
