It would be useful to have some dates in the article about Bell 3B computers. 47.229.160.187 ( talk) 19:04, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
For those who know the history of AT&T and computers, they know that AT&T prior to the early 80s was barred from selling computers or software due to anrtitrust restrictions dating back to the late 50's. It was only after they settled a second antitrust case that saw the split of AT&T that they where free to sell Unix directly to customers and they where free also free to sell computers to the general public/corporations. This meant that all early 3B series of computers only saw use within AT&T operations including local Bells. Based on what I read in this article and elsewhere, it does seem as if later models of 3B series either where sold outside of AT&T or where the basis for models sold on the open market. This needs to be clarified t sort of implied in the article but it not clear enough. 108.239.8.149 ( talk) 00:22, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
