Clade of fungi
Symbiomycota is a clade of fungi containing both
Glomeromycota and
Dikarya .
[1] It is supported with RNA analysis.
[2]
[3]
It includes all
Mycorrhiza hence the name references symbiosis.
[3] Although
Endogone is a rare exception of a symbiotic fungus outside this group.
