The Swiss Journal of Palaeontology is a peer-reviewed scientific journal for palaeontology and taxonomy. It was originally established as Schweizerische Paläontologische Abhandlungen in 1874 and was published by the Natural History Museum of Basel, [2] before renaming itself to the current title in 2011. It is published twice yearly. [3]

As of March 2024, the journal's editoral board includes Felix M. Gradstein, David Harper, Graciela Piñeiro, and Hans-Dieter Sues. [4]
