Steven Wayne Long (born April 14, 1994) is an American politician. He is a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from the 37th District, serving since 2016. He is a member of the Republican party. [1] [2]

Long is a member of the South Carolina Freedom Caucus. [3] [4] He also serves on the House Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee. [5]

In 2023, Long was one of 21 Republican co-sponsors of the South Carolina Prenatal Equal Protection Act of 2023, which would make women who had abortions eligible for the death penalty. [6] [7]
