Spectacle Island is a privately owned island off Bar Harbor, Maine, United States. [1] [2] [3] It is 4 acres (1.6 ha), [1] and it is owned by Ashley Longmaid. [2] As of 2012 [update], it is the world's ninth most expensive island [1] and is part of the Town of Winter Harbor.
