The article emphasises him as an important African-American figure in the late 19th-early 20th century and if someone looks him up and sees a washed out photo that makes him look like some Russian or French white dude they'll think he's pretending. I thought so when I hyperlinked to his page from the article on the word "Nigga" from a quote where he states he "Learned" it wasn't to be used by white men. Implications.)Tags: UndoReverted
