any improvement to any article would only add legitimacy to wikipedia's overwhelmingly pro-US liberal consensuscurrent

the phrase I removed comes across as overly editorializing; that is, trying to argue explicitly against the chinese position. the information contained in it has already been conveyed in the surrounding text anyway so it's redundant to restate. nevertheless, I strengthened the callback in the first sentence of the paragraph to help tie the narrative togetherTag: Reverted

the repeated use of the word "itself" is not appropriate here. it's a clear editorial stance that subtly trivializes the distinction of where the killings happened. it's also just objectively misleading since the major dispute is whether the killings occurred in another demonstration a mile away, not literally just outside of the square.

Killing of Elijah McClain
it's unreasonable to attach "always unsupported by evidence" to the family's inferences. they're not investigators; it's not their job to provide evidence, if any even exists. this is an accusation that's entirely reasonable but almost impossible to prove. so let's say instead that it wasn't proven

whether it was literal boxes of guns or sending money to help organize/train so that other funds would be freed up to buy guns is an exceedingly fine distinctionTags: UndoReverted

Mikhail Gorbachev
his liberalization program is alleged by critics to have rapidly precipitated the the collapse of an otherwise more-or-less stable state. saying that he "failed to stop" a collapse is not an accurate characterization of the criticism. this is backed up by the rest of the article so I don't know why the lead is any different.

it's inappropriate to use the word "saved" outside of a quote. wikipedia shouldn't take sides, especially when it's the wrong side.

Cloud gaming
the "wasteful" claim is idiotic and I'm removing it. bandwidth isn't even close to being a critically limited resource in the markets where cloud gaming is relevant. meanwhile, the alternative of everyone needing to buy their own dedicated hardware is absolutely wasteful.

Warsaw Uprising
The body of the article has some good balance about the political intrigue going on with the home army, and German defensive operations making it pretty implausible that the Red Army would try to enter the city. So it seems inappropriate pack the lead section with the one-sided hero narrative. How about some balance here?Tags: Mobile editMobile web editAdvanced mobile edit

→Government and politics: It's kind of weird to try to shoehorn textualism into this sentence. The Constitution, as interpreted by the courts, determines the structure of government. The extent to which they rely on the text isn't material to this particular sentence in the article.Tags: Mobile editMobile web editAdvanced mobile edit

"stray" is not the best word choice here. it almost implies that interventionism would have been the correct course, and FDR failed to keep to it
