Sorkheh Rural District ( Persian: دهستان سرخه) is in Fath Olmobin District of Shush County, Khuzestan province, Iran. [3] It is administered from the city of Fath Olmobin (formerly Saleh Moshatat). [4]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 8,286 in 1,261 households. [5] There were 6,374 inhabitants in 1,390 households at the following census of 2011. [6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,666 in 1,625 households. The most populous of its 44 villages was Saleh Davud, with 2,132 people. [2]
