Sandamu is a Local Government Area in Katsina State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is located in the town of Sandamu on the A2 highway in the north of the area at 12°57′37″N 8°21′44″E / 12.96028°N 8.36222°E.
It has an area of 1418 km2 and a population of 137,287 at the 2006 census.
