The Samsung Galaxy M23 5G is an Android-based smartphone designed, developed and marketed by Samsung Electronics. This phone was announced on March 04, 2022. [1] [4]

Design

The screen is made of Corning glass Gorilla Glass 5. The back panel and the side part are made of matte plastic.

From the back, the smartphone looks like the Samsung Galaxy M13.

At the bottom are the USB-C connector, speaker, microphone and 3.5 mm audio jack. The second microphone is located on top. On the left side there is a slot for 2 SIM cards and a microSD format memory card up to 1 TB. On the right side are the volume control buttons and the smartphone lock button, which has a built-in fingerprint scanner.

Samsung Galaxy M23 5G is sold in 3 colors: Rose Gold, Green and Blue.

The device received a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor and an Adreno 619 GPU.

Battery

The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh. There is also support for fast charging with a power of 25 W. [5]

Camera

The smartphone received a main triple camera of 50 MP, f/1.8 ( wide-angle) with phase autofocus + 8 MP, f/2.2 (ultra-wide-angle) with an angle 123° + 2 MP, f/2.4 (macro). The main camera is capable of recording video in resolution 4K@30fps. The front camera has a resolution of 8 MP, an aperture of f/2.2 (wide-angle) and the ability to record video in a resolution of 1080p@30fps.

Screen

Screen TFT LCD, 6.6", FullHD+ (2408 × 1080) with pixel density 400 ppi, aspect ratio 20:9, screen refresh rate 120  Hz and Infinity-V (drop-shaped) cutout for the front camera.

Memory

Samsung Galaxy M23 5G is sold in 4/64, 4/128 and 6/128 GB configurations. In Ukraine, the smartphone is officially sold only in 4/64 and 4/128 GB configurations.

Software

The smartphone was released on One UI 4.1 based on Android 12. [6] Was updated to One UI 5.1 based on Android 13
