Statistics Canada, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines had a population of 15,221 living in 5,882 of its 6,005 total private dwellings, a change of 5.5% from its 2016 population of 14,421. With a land area of 93.44 km2 (36.08 sq mi), it had a population density of 162.9/km2 (421.9/sq mi) in 2021.[6]
