Species of mosquito
Sabethes (Sabethes) cyaneus is a
species of
mosquito that native to
Central America and
South America.
[1] This species is a
disease vector of
Zika virus.
[2] Larvae are facultative predators that use their siphon to grab prey (often other mosquito larvae) while submerged.
