Robert Emmett Tansey (June 28, 1897 – June 17, 1951) was an American actor, screenwriter, film producer and director. [1] He was active in cinema in various roles from the 1910s to the 1950s. He was credited under at least 15 pseudonyms, such as Charles Anders, John Foster, Al Lane or Frank Simpson. Tansey died in Hollywood at age 53. [2]
