Rio Grande City Grulla Independent School District (RGCGISD), formerly Rio Grande City Consolidated Independent School District, is a public school district based in Rio Grande City, Texas ( USA).

In 2009, the school district was " recognized" by the Texas Education Agency. [1]

Catchment area

The district serves communities in southeastern Starr County including the cities of Rio Grande City and La Grulla, and several census-designated places. Census-designated places served by RGCCISD include: [2]

In regards to former CDPs:

Formerly Garciasville and La Casita were one CDP, La Casita-Garciasville. [5]
