Richard C. Caster (October 16, 1948 – February 2, 2024) was an American football tight end who played for 13 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), primarily with the New York Jets. He also played occasionally as a wide receiver. He played college football for the Jackson State Tigers and was selected by the Jets in the second round of the 1970 NFL draft.

His son, Max, is a professional wrestler signed to All Elite Wrestling. [1] Caster died from complications of Parkinson's disease on February 2, 2024, at the age of 75. [2]
