An iconic Australian story of family, friendship and adventure, between a young boy and a scrappy one-of-a-kind dog that would grow up to become an Australian legend. [3]
Filming began early in 2015 and was released on Boxing Day in 2016. [4]
Red Dog: True Blue has a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on reviews from 13 critics. [5]
The film grossed $5,218,716 at the Australian box office, a quarter of the original film's takings. [6]
