Ray Vaughn Denslow (1885–1960) [1] was an author, poet, and historian of Freemasonry. Ray was noted for many different pieces of writing including that of I Am Freemasonry. [2] His other books include A Handbook for Royal Arch Masons, [3] Masonic Rites and Degrees, [4] The Masonic World, [5] and Freemasonry in the Western Hemisphere. [6] Ray was a former Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Missouri. [7]
