He is currently serving as a Member of Parliament (MP) in the Lok Sabha, representing the Ghosi Lok Sabha constituency 70, elected in the 2024 Indian general elections with a margin of 1.63 lakh votes. He is also the National Secretary and spokesperson of the Samajwadi Party.
Rajeev Rai was born in village Surhi, Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. His father is Raj Narayan Rai and wife is Nikita Rai. [1] He has 2 children, Ritvik Rai and Aditya Rai.
