Pier-Philippe Chevigny (born 1988) is a Canadian film director and screenwriter from
Quebec,
[1] most noted for his 2019 short film
Rebel (Recrue).

Originally from
Contrecœur, Quebec, he is a graduate of the film school at the
Université de Montréal.
[3] He made a number of short films before breaking through with Rebel, which premiered at the
2019 Toronto International Film Festival.

In 2021 he entered production on his feature debut,
Richelieu.
[4] The film was shown under the name Temporaries at the 2023
Tribeca Film Festival.
