The son of the Rev. David Penry Jones, a Presbyterian minister in South Wales, in September 1967 in
Westminster Jones married actress
Angela Thorne,[5] and they had two sons, actors Laurence and
Rupert.[6][7]
Jones died of bowel cancer in 2009, aged 70, in
Anglesey.[8]
