The Paul G. Allen Frontiers Group is a Seattle-based bioscience research initiative started in 2016 and funded with an initial investment of $100 million. [1] It is a division of the Allen Institute. [2] Its vision is to identify areas in bioscience that are ripe for a major breakthrough, and then fund specific investigators to pursue advances. [3]
In 2021, the Allen Frontiers Group joined the Open Research Funders Group (ORFG). [4]
