The Norfolk Island Labor Party ( Pitcairn-Norfolk: Norfuk Ailen Leyba Paati), also known simply as Norfolk Labor ( Pitcairn-Norfolk: Norfuk Leyba), was the Norfolk Island branch of the Australian Labor Party. It operated as a sub-branch of the ACT Labor Party. [3]
At the 2010 election, Labor ran four candidates, receiving 13.59% of the total vote. [4] [5]
The party was last led by Mike King, who also served as Leader of the Opposition until March 2013. [6] [7]
At the 2015 status referendum, the party supported the "no" vote, which was ultimately unsuccessful. [2]
Norfolk Labor faded away sometime after 2015, having not contested the 2013 election. [2] [8]
