Nepalese mountaineer and mountain guide
Nawang Dorje Sherpa is a
Nepalese
mountaineer and
mountain guide, best known for the
first ascent of
Dhaulagiri as a member of Helvetic-Austrian expedition, and many ascents in the mountains of the
Himalaya Range.
