National Geographic (also known as Nat Geo) is an Indian pay television channel operated by Disney Star a subsidiary of Disney India. It mainly telecast features non-fiction, documentaries involving nature, science, culture, and history, produced by the National Geographic Society. It was broadcast in Eight languages ( English, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Bengali and Marathi)

A HD version of the channel, National Geographic HD was launched on 20 February 2010.
