Mythimna reversa is a moth of the family Noctuidae first described by Frederic Moore in 1884. [1] It is found in the Indian subregion, Sri Lanka, [2] Borneo, the Philippines, [3] Hong Kong, Malaysia and Australia. [4]
Adult wingspan is 4 cm. Forewings pinkish brown with patterned dark lines. A pale line runs from the wingtip to near the middle of the hindmargin. Reniform and orbicular distinctly paler. Hindwings pale grey with darker margins. [5] [6] Larval food plants include various grasses such as Paspalum.
