Michael Hunter (born 27 May 1948) is an English former footballer who played as a forward in the Football League for Darlington and in the League of Ireland for Sligo Rovers. He was on the books of Blackpool without representing them in the League. [2] Hunter joined Sligo Rovers in August 1968, [3] and played for them until at least 1970. [4]
Sligo's latest signing, 20-year-old Michael Hunter, who comes from Darlington, having had experience with Blackpool, twisted an ankle in training yesterday and is out of the team against St Patrick's Athletic at the Showgrounds next Sunday.
Kiernan added a fifth, and when Mick Hunter's shot was blocked down, Mitchell completed the half-dozen.
