Meadow Oaks is an
unincorporated community and
census-designated place (CDP) in
Pasco County ,
Florida , United States.
[5] Located north of
Florida State Road 52 inland from
Hudson ,
[6] it is within the
Tampa–St. Petersburg–Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area (
MSA )
[7] and the
Southwest Florida Water Management District .
The community was first planned in 1983 to include homes and eponymous golf course,
[8] which was later expanded.

[10] The clubhouse was destroyed by fire in 1995.
[11] The community continued to grow into the 2000s,

[14] partly on land that had once been a cattle ranch, to have eight 'villages'.

Meadow Oaks become a CDP (43785)

[17] and as of the
2010 census its population was 2,442
[2] It had grown to 2,842 by the
2020 census .

Meadow Oaks is considered an 'inland' or 'landside' Pasco County community.

U.S. Census Bureau , Meadow Oaks CDP has an area of 1.656 square miles (4.29 km2 ); 1.651 square miles (4.28 km2 ) of its area is land, and 0.005 square miles (0.013 km2 ) is water.
