Mazu (
Persian : مازو )
[a] is a village in, and the capital of,
Mazu Rural District of
Alvar-e Garmsiri District ,
Andimeshk County ,
Khuzestan province,
Iran .

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 498 in 111 households.
[5] The following census in 2011 counted 427 people in 117 households.
[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 416 people in 115 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
