Makvan Rural District ( Persian: دهستان ماكوان) is in Bayangan District of Paveh County, Kermanshah province, Iran. [3] Its capital is the village of Dudan. [4]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 2,327 in 570 households. [5] There were 2,255 inhabitants in 615 households at the following census of 2011. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 2,149 in 633 households. The most populous of its 33 villages was Zardui, with 743 people. [2]
