At the 2006 National Census, its population was 964 in 230 households, when it was in the former
Garamduz Rural District of Khoda Afarin District,
Kaleybar County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,156 people in 305 households,[7] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Khoda Afarin County.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,094 people in 335 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
