Laith was lived in Baghdad, where his literary and intellectual journey began. His first short story titled "The policy of illusions" was published in "Al-Khabar" newspaper in 2019, which brought attention to him as a talented young writer. [5] [1]
and He is considered one of the promising young writers who have distinguished themselves with their significant contributions to literature and art criticism [6] [7]
Laith worked as a cultural mediator and advisor for foreign affairs in the municipality of Ashur, [2] [3]affiliated with the district of Al-Shirqat, between 2019 and 2020. He also served as an editor for the cultural page in "Al-Akhbar Al-Lubnaniyah" newspaper based in Beirut. [8]
His works and articles have been published in various Iraqi and Arab newspapers, such as " Al-Akhbar" Lebanese newspaper, "Al-Sabah" Iraqi newspaper, " Al-Ayyam" Bahraini newspaper, " Elaph" electronic newspaper, and others. Laith has also demonstrated his talent in translation by translating some artistic and literary works from English to Arabic, including the art movement in Europe during the twentieth century. [4]
