Kenneth Welburn (born third quarter 1929) [1] was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s and 1950s. He played at club level for Featherstone Rovers ( Heritage № 298) ( captain during the 1954–55 season), as a prop, i.e. number 8 or 10, during the era of contested scrums. [2]
Welburn made his début for Featherstone Rovers on Saturday 20 November 1948. [3]
Ken Welburn's marriage to Mary H. ( née Copley) was registered during first quarter 1957 in Pontefract district. [4]
