Kayalıkale is a village in the Varto District of the Muş Province in east Turkey. [2] Its population is 314 (2022). [1]

History

The Kurdish name of the village is Hınzora jor. [3] The word Khndzor means Apple in Armenian. [4]

Geology and geography

Kayalıkale and the plateau used for animal husbandry are located on the Akdoğan Mountains. [5]

Education

There is a secondary school in the village. [6]
