Karasht Rural District ( Persian: دهستان کرشت) is in the Central District of Pardis County, Tehran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Karasht. [3]

After the 2011 National Census, the cities of Bumahen and Pardis, and most of Siyahrud Rural District, separated from Tehran County in the establishment of Pardis County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city Pardis as its capital. [3]

At the most recent census of 2016, the population of Karasht Rural District was 5,237 in 1,650 households. The most populous of its 11 villages was Bagh-e Komesh, with 2,566 people. [2]

After the 2016 census, Karasht Rural District and the capital city of Pardis were separated from Bumehen District in the establishment of the Central District. [4]
